Join us for a rustic, natural and relaxing stay
We started our homestead in Valencia growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, almond and walnut trees,
intentionally getting ‘back to nature’
Steve’s moto
“only eat what you chop”,
eating nothing from a jar or tin.
Then joined our family was Huevo our billy goat, a brood of 7 hens and came along naturally was Ralph our rescue kitten.
Living in nature feels natural to us so it made sense to build something other people can enjoy as well ourselfs!
Our Happy Hens
We are a small, home-based flock with seven happy hens that are raised in a true free-range environment. Our chickens are able to roam freely outdoors throughout the day, exploring, scratching, and foraging naturally for grasses, seeds, and insects - just as chickens are meant to do.
Because our hens are free range, they enjoy a healthier, more natural lifestyle. This not only supports their wellbeing, but also contributes to the quality of the eggs they produce. With plenty of fresh air, space to move, and a varied natural diet, our hens live low-stress lives, resulting in fresh, wholesome eggs from well-cared-for chickens.
We believe that happy hens lay better eggs, and giving them the freedom to roam is an important part of how we care for our flock every day.
